There's a ton of digital picture frames available with all kinds of crazy features. I was looking for something inexpensive, 4:3 screen ratio, and discreet / elegant looking. This frame fills all those requirements very nicely.
The screen is very nice, very wide viewing angle (how far off of directly in front of the frame can you see a good picture), bright, sharp, and good color. This is a relatively small screen, so zillions of pixels resolution is not terribly important, images look nice and sharp. Yes a super high resolution screen would be really nice, especially if I sit very close to the screen, but at this price point, I'm very impressed. There are some great image controls in the set up menu, sharpness, color, saturation, brightness and contrast - all very similar to a television.
The frame is a subtle solid black affair. The back is black plastic and moderately thick. There is a round silver metal 'leg' that you screw into one corner of the back. There is no angle adjustment possible, the screen stands proud mostly straight up and down.
This thing does recognize when the frame is in landscape or portrait mode and rotates the pictures automatically. In portrait mode (the display is sitting on the shorter side with the tall side going up), the pictures are a bit stretched to fit the screen. I'm not sure many would use the screen in portrait mode.
Regular old digital pictures taken with a cell phone, point and shoot camera, or digital SLR are very close to the ratio of this screen. That means uncropped pictures will fit perfectly on the screen.
Something very nice about this screen, Compact Flash cards can be used. Otherwise it's down to good old SD memory cards. It does support MMC, xD, and USB memory sticks. There is a headphone jack, and a small crummy speaker.
What's in the box? A credit card remote that is well laid out and one of the more intuitive remotes for a picture frame. An AC adapter, very light weight with a decent cord length. The picture frame and the steel peg leg. A few bits of advertising.
The frame does calendar / clock; slide show; movies (I did not check the supported movie formats); and MP3 player. Setup menu was very easy to use, definately intuitive. Pictures are presented in Windows file name order one folder at a time.
I like this frame. The subtle black wooden frame is very nice and clean. For the price, this one is hard to beat. |

Very impressed with the picture quality of this frame. It is east to set up and adding your photos is a snap. The remote is a nice feature as is the on/off timer. The cost is reasonable and I would not hesitate to purchase another one. The only drawback is no wall mount feature.
Picture is very sharp

OK, it's a picture frame, I've had a few, but the picture on this one is very sharp and clear. The aspect ratio is the same ,3x4, as a normal computer monitor so if you have your photos croped to that size they go right in and fill the screen. I may buy another.

I bought this frame for my baby shower to show pictures of my hubby and I as babies. It's a great product, very clear pictures, although my husband and I couldn't figure out how to make the pictures shuffle instead of showing in order.

it's a great product but, the only thing i didn't like is that it does not have random pic option, it would just show you pic in the order you saved them
